Who is the most indispensable Jaguars player for 2019?

The Jacksonville Jaguars don’t exactly have a stacked roster, but there are certainly key players who will be instrumental to this team’s progress through the 2019 NFL season — players who could be the difference between an 8-8 year and a Wild Card berth.

Mike Dempsey of 1010XL radio had a great question this morning and I think it deserves some more conversation...

“Other than Nick Foles and Jalen Ramsey, which three Jaguars are the most indispensable to the team’s success in 2019?”

If we’re not counting the quarterback and the best player on a top defense, I think the choice is easy — Yannick Ngakoue.

You need to pass the ball. You need to defend the pass. And you need to rush the passer. Ngakoue is the team’s best pass rusher, ranking among other top pass rushers in sacks, pressures, and forced fumbles since being drafted in 2016.

I’d say your next most important job is protecting the passer and for that Cam Robinson would be very important. And then I’d go with the most talented player on the roster after that which would be Calais Campbell or A.J. Bouye.

What about you? Who’s the most indispensable player to the team’s success in 2019? Let us know in the comments below!
