The Jacksonville Jaguars’ roster is down to 89 players as undrafted safety Zedrick Woods from Ole Miss has surprisingly retired.

Woods was one of 21 undrafted free agents to sign with the Jaguars after the 2019 NFL Draft.

With needed help at defensive back, Woods had a chance to crack the opening day roster as a special teams player. He ran the fastest 40-yard dash (4.29) at the combine played in 49 games, starting 37, and earning 133 total tackles and six interceptions.
