Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy — the preseason hot takes are rolling in and the Jacksonville Jaguars are getting their annual love the week before training camp with winning seasons being handed out like candy!

USA Today believes the Jaguars go 10-6 and earn a playoff spot.

Sports Illustrated thinks the Jaguars climb to 9-7 but barely lose out on a playoff spot.

And now ESPN’s Booger McFarland thinks Jacksonville is the team to go from worst to first this year.

It’s not crazy that a team goes from worst to first in their division. After all, it’s happened every year since 2003 so there’s going to be a team that does it.

The New York Jets? Uh, no.

The Cincinnati Bengals? Nope.

The Oakland Raiders? Hahahaha...

The New York Giants? My word, no.

The Detroit Lions? I mean... no, but they look better than anyone else so far.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers? No.

The Arizona Cardinals? I don’t think so, Tim.

If the streak continues into 2019, I think the Jaguars and Lions stand the best chance, with the Jaguars edging them out due to strength of division — the NFC North is just a stronger division right now than the AFC South.

And if you look at their rosters, the Jaguars defense just jumps off the page when compared to the Lions.

Oh no, am I... agreeing with Booger McFarland?

What do you think? Will the Jaguars go from worst to first in the AFC South? Will the Lions do it? What about one of the other six teams? Or will 2019 be the year the streak breaks? Let us know in the comments below!
