Jaguars 90 in 90: Tyre Brady

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars-OTA Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports

As we work our way through the summer in preparation for 2019 training camp and the 2019 preseason, we thought it would be a good idea to go down the roster and take a peak at every single player on the Jaguars 90 man. A lot of these players we already know, but roughly half of them won’t make the final roster and there will be some battles on the back end, so this can give us at least some precursory information on players we may not be familiar with.

Now you can look smart watching the preseason games with your friends when they say “Wow, who is that guy?!” — You’ll know.

Next up, wide receiver Tyre Brady.

Tyre Brady, rookie, 24, Marshall

Brady joined the Jacksonville Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent and would be a long shot to make the team’s 53-man roster and will likely be gunning for a spot on the practice squad. He brings some good size to the group at 6’3” and 210 plus pounds, so he at least offers something the team might be able to develop that they don’t really have currently.

Originally attending University of Miami, Brady transferred to Marshall once Mark Richt took over and quickly established himself as a go-to target for the Herd. Brady racked up 133 receptions for nearly 2,000 yards and 17 touchdowns in two seasons, averaging 14.6 yards per reception. He reminds me a little bit of the same skill-set as Allen Hurns when he was snagged as a undrafted rookie, however Hurns’ route running was significantly better.
