100 moments in 100 days: Blake Bortles to Ben Koyack to beat the Bills

This year marks the 25th season for the Jacksonville Jaguars. To celebrate, we’re counting down 100 days from our regular season kickoff with the top 100 moments in franchise history.

Yesterday it was Will Blackmon stripping and scoring against the Tennessee Titans back in 2013.

Today? Blake Bortles. Ben Koyack. Beating the Buffalo Bills.

I’m not going to lie, folks. This was an ugly. An ugly game. It was the first time we’d hosted a playoff game since January 23, 2000 (I need a drink) and boy were we rusty on offense. If not for a Herculean effort by the defense this would have been a hell of a kick to the groin.

But they held the Bills to just three points — a goal line touchdown on fourth down from Bortles to Koyack was all the scoring we needed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
