Yesterday it was beating the original Cleveland Browns in their last game ever.
Today? Fred Taylor dragging Gene Frenette like he was Mike Doss.
When Fred dragged Gene— cade (@sir_cade) August 6, 2019
It all started with Fred Taylor being voted below Tony Boselli as only the second best player in franchise history.
I’m not sure who voted but they missed. What were you guys doing for the 11 YEARS I carried the team. One day someone (other than me) will recognize how valuable I was. I did something only 21 players in history of the game done at my position. #WhatAJoke https://t.co/lDl0fGcxhK— Fred Taylor (@FredTaylorMade) July 31, 2019
And then Gene got involved and, well, Fred had some (a lot) of words for the embroiled journalist.
Gene I didn’t blow it. I got you to come out and play didn’t I? You’ve lacked credibility for years and your peers will vouch for that. The same ppl you refer to as being upset by my comments are the same ppl that wanted you out of the Jax market. #WhatAJoke— Fred Taylor (@FredTaylorMade) August 5, 2019
Pro Bowl nominations are a joke. Countless number of vets get the bid due to popularity. Production isn’t always the determining factor. If it were, I would’ve made it several years. Same thing goes for rookie of the year. If you guys hd done your jobs and not bash the team— Fred Taylor (@FredTaylorMade) August 5, 2019
maybe the National media would see what the players actually did. I had best rookie year in 98. Do your research, these are facts. But stuck in small market and “taking the high road” as you so “Eloquently” stated lol got me nothing. Never taking high road when I’m right!!— Fred Taylor (@FredTaylorMade) August 5, 2019
There’s a lot more, so head on over to Fred Taylor’s timeline to enjoy even more.
