Week 2 NFL odds: Best lines to play and bet your mortgage on the Dallas Cowboys

I think this is an ugly game but the Panthers have the better defense, quarterback, and... well, the Panthers are a better team. I wish I’d taken this at the -5.5 open but I’ll still hit it at -7.

New England Patriots (-19.5) at Miami Dolphins

The opening line was -9.5 in favor of the Patriots and it has skyrocketed to a nearly three touchdown advantage for Tom Brady & Co.

Dallas Cowboys (-6) at Washington

Dak Prescott in a contract year against a divisional foe? Yeah, this is gonna be an easy ride for Dallas.

Bet on the Cowboys to win by more than a touchdown.

Houston Texans (-9) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

I have no idea what to expect out of this Jacksonville team. The offense is looking better than ever with a backup rookie quarterback and the defense dragged them down last week. Look for both sides of the ball to regress to the mean and lose by quite a bit on Sunday.
