Jaguars make change to Thursday uniform combination

The Jacksonville Jaguars had planned on celebrating their 25 year anniversary by honoring tradition. The uniform combination was to harken back to the original teal top with white bottom combination.

GET YOUR TEAL OUT

The Jaguars are calling on fans to “Get Your Teal Out” and transform the city and TIAA Bank Field to teal on Thursday night to celebrate Jacksonville’s turn in the national spotlight. For the team’s first home divisional game of the year, the Jaguars will wear teal jerseys and white pants, an homage to the inaugural season’s traditional combination. The team is asking fans to wear teal as well. The game is presented by Publix and the first 25,000 fans through the gates will receive a teal Jaguars T-shirt.

It is the greatest uniform combination, historically and in the present iteration.

But this has changed. It has been decided the Jaguars will be battling the Titans in teal tops and black bottoms.

I have been told my love for teal on white is a travesty. Others have expressed their affinity for black on teal, and teal on black.

I hate all of you for taking the uniform combination I love away from me for such an important game. But surely we can all agree that when it comes to a uniform travesty, only one can hold that trophy.
