Shad Khan on Jalen Ramsey trade: ‘We have to do the right thing for the team’

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan doesn’t seem to be taking Jalen Ramsey’s side in the trade request fiasco that has engulfed this franchise over the past 72 hours.

Appearing on NFL Network ahead of this evening’s Thursday Night Football game, Khan spoke very directly about the situation.

“This is a team sport,” Khan said on Thursday afternoon. “I’m very sensitive to individual needs, but we have to do the right thing for the team.”

But, Mr. Khan. What if the right thing for the team is to keep Jalen Ramsey?
