The Jacksonville Jaguars re-signed linebacker Myles Jack to a monster four year, $57 million contract on Saturday — keeping the fourth year player with the team until 2024.
And a little more than 24 hours later, Jack went to Twitter to roast his haters and doubters, specifically NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport who led the charge about the knee injury rumors that many (it seems Jack included) believe to be the reason he fell to the second round.
Facts man I did slide. A lot of false media reports played a major part in that leading the public to believe I was damaged goods... Lol I’ve held my peace on this for 4 years bro let me have my day to defend myself so I can go to bed peacefully https://t.co/AYYtDRD8AG— Myles Jack (@MylesJack) September 2, 2019
Opinions on if Jack should have been re-signed before the likes of Yannick Ngakoue or Jalen Ramsey aside, we here at Big Cat Country stan any and every player dancing on the graves of his haters when he makes a big play or signs a big contract.
