7 bold score predictions for Jaguars vs. Broncos

The Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2) are traveling to play the Denver Broncos (0-3). Jacksonville wants to try and climb back to .500 and take another step towards the playoffs. Denver wants to avoid going winless through the first quarter of the season.

Happy Sunday!

Before the game begins, we wanted to ask the Big Cat Country team (and you!) a simple question:

“How will the Jaguars do against the Broncos today?”

Alfie Crow (@AlfieBCC)

Go Jaguars.

Jaguars win 24-10.

I think Denver is a perfectly suited offense for Jacksonville’s defense. Expect a ton of sacks, an interception or two, and a comfortable win.

Jaguars win 20-16

Minshew Mania continues with the team facing a really bad Broncos team and coming off an extended break that saw them get healthier. Gardner throws for 300+ yards, and Myles Jack gets a defensive score.

Jaguars win 24-16

The Jaguars typically struggle when traveling west, but the Broncos just seem like a team that Jacksonville matches up really well against. Joe Flacco is probably still having nightmares about the last time he faced the Jaguars defense, and I expect the pass rush to be in his face all day on Sunday. The Broncos also have some injuries on defense that I think Gardner Minshew and the offense can take advantage of. Hopefully the altitude isn’t an issue, but I predict a win on the road.

The Broncos injury report consists of CB Bryce Callahan, OT Ja’Wuan James, S Kareem Jackson, LB Josey Jewell, DE Derek Wolfe, and a few other major contributors listed as limited. If these guys can’t suit up, the Jaguars should have their way with the Broncos as long as Gardner Minshew II doesn’t turn into a pumpkin. And I don’t think he will!

Jaguars win 27-15

Jaguars have their first of four 4 o’clock games this Sunday against the Denver Broncos, who are 0-3 to start the season. Jaguars are coming off a huge win against the Titans but despite a poor record, I do believe Jacksonville will have a tough one against the Denver Broncos special teams and defensive backs. Denver Broncos’ Dionte Spencer is close to taking a kickoff to the house and with Jacksonville’s sub-par special team defense, they have to take extra care of field position; unfortunately, I do believe that is what keeps this game close. Be on the lookout for Leonard Fournette to have a redemption game but that isn’t what gets the win, it will be Minshew to DJ Chark for a touchdown late in the game that will make this an exciting one.

I respect the Broncos defense. No doubt they are do to get a sack or two. That said, Gardner Minshew and this offensive line have already faced some decent defensive talent within our own division. The person you should worry about is Joe Flacco, assuming the Broncos throw the ball... ever.

Bold Prediction: Josh Lambo stat line: 4 for 4.

Jaguars win 26-14
