If I’m putting myself into the mind of a non-Jacksonville football fan, it seems logical that the Jaguars would be most likely to go from worst to first in the AFC South. They’ve upgraded at the quarterback position, two of their three divisional opponents lost key members of their offense shortly before the season, and the non-conference schedule for the Jaguars isn’t tough. Why not us?

This one’s easy to explain. Jacksonville is healthy on top of all the reasons we listed above — key players on division opponents are either injured, retired, or suspended. It’s set up nicely for the Jaguars, just as it was in 2017, so let’s see if they can capitalize.
