We are one week into the NFL playoffs and we are at double our original investment from Week 1.

How does Divisional Round look and what are the best games to throw some money at? Let’s check it out!

Note: I used Bovada’s odds on Friday afternoon.

Minnesota Vikings (+7.0) at San Francisco 49ers

While I do think the 49ers will win this one (only one No. 1 seed has lost in the past six seasons) I really like the Vikings against the spread. Tom Fornelli over at CBS Sports breaks it down:

Then there’s an insane trend with the Vikings under Mike Zimmer that seals this play. Minnesota’s struggles have always been within the NFC North. Under Zimmer, the Vikings are 18-18 ATS in division games. Against everybody else, they’re 44-19-1 ATS. That’s right, 44-19-1 ATS.

44-19-1 against the spread is an insanely good performance.

Bet on the Vikings to keep this close.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans (Under 47.0)

The Ravens are one of the most unpredictable teams in the NFL. I think they’ll easily handle the Titans (and Lamar Jackson will be almost supernatural) but I don’t know if they’ll win by the 10-point spread that Vegas is giving them.

With both teams relying on their ground games, I see this being a shorter game with fewer points.

Bet on the Ravens and Titans to keep the scoring down.

Houston Texans (+9.5) at Kansas City Chiefs

This is going to be the most entertaining game of the weekend and with Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes going against two subpar pass defenses, it’s going to be a shootout. I don’t want to touch the over/under but I do like the Texans keeping it closer than 9.5 points.

Bet on the Texans to either win or lose by fewer than 9.5 points.

Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks (Under 46.5)

This is not going to be a fun game to play in. We’re talking conditions in the lower 20’s and the Packers offense isn’t very productive in cold weather. I mean... look at this:

While the Seahawks racked up the points early in the season, their offense has averaged just 17.0 points per game in the past three weeks and has topped 21 points in just two of their past seven games.

Bet on the Packers and Seahawks to keep the scoring down too.

Overall: 38-33-1 (53.5%)

Bet Your Mortgage: 9-9-0 (50.0%)
