The Jacksonville Jaguars have parted ways with former Director of Player Personnel Chris Polian as of Wednesday night, according to Neil Stratton of Inside The League.
Multiple sources tell us #Jaguars Director of Player Personnel Chris Polian is no longer w/the team. Polian has also served w/the #Falcons (as exec scout) & #Colts (as GM). He's a possibility to resurface w/the #Browns; he worked w/new GM Andrew Berry while w/@Colts.

Before coming to Jacksonville, Polian was previously the vice president and general manager of the Indianapolis Colts from 2009-2011 while his father, Bill Polian, was the team’s president. Chris was originally hired as the team’s pro personnel director after Bill became the general manager of the Colts in 1998. Both were fired following a 2-14 season in 2011.
Chris spent the 2012 season with the Atlanta Falcons as a regional scout, where he presumably built a relationship with now general manager Dave Caldwell. With Chris as an executive beneath him, Bill built a Colts team that finished with double-digit win totals in 11 of 12 seasons before a 2-14 season forced the pair out.
