The Jacksonville Jaguars (1-3) and Houston Texans (0-4) are battling it out in Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season.
Will this be a bounce back game for this team after three straight losses? Will it be Deshaun Watson’s first win of the year?
Before the game begins, we wanted to ask the Big Cat Country team (and you!) a simple question... and we’re going to have John Shipley of Sports Illustrated join us this season too!
“How will the Jaguars do today?”
Alfie Crow (@AlfieBCC)
Jacksonville continues to be the get right team for others, with a Houston team in turmoil getting things right.
Texans win 30-23

No Josh Allen. No D.J. Hayden. Several defenders are questionable. James Robinson will get plenty of carries, but I still see this as a Texans win.
Texans win 34-24
Record: 2-2

The Texans are in shambles after an 0-4 start and firing head coach Bill O’Brien, but I still think Houston has the better roster overall. Deshaun Watson should have a field day against Jacksonville’s banged up secondary, but I expect Gardner Minshew and the Jaguars’ offense to keep up in a shootout against an equally bad defense. But, I just can’t trust Jacksonville to get the job done defensively, so Houston ultimately wins. Plus, the Jaguars only seem to win once my expectations have dropped completely, so I am trying to reverse jinx myself.
Texans win 30-27
Record: 1-3

This game is really going to come down to who wants to win more. With the Texans coming off firing Bill O’Brien and Josh Allen being out the game, I expect Deshaun Watson to have a field day.
Texans win 31-17
Record: 0-4

Until the Jaguars show us they can play competitively on defense, there’s no sense in picking them to win. Over the past few games it has become clear that Jacksonville is not going to be able to overcome such a young defensive line and secondary and Watson will make them pay this week.
Texans win 30-21
Record: 0-4
John Shipley (@_John_Shipley)
The Jaguars will get some early momentum with James Robinson but a banged up Jaguars defense helps Deshaun Watson get back on track.
Texans win 38-20
Record: 2-2
