The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently 9.5-point underdogs for their Week 7 away matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.
That’s a big line and it’s deserved. Justin Herbert has the Chargers looking good and the Jaguars are losers of their last five games. I wouldn’t be surprised if the line inches towards Los Angeles ever so slightly with people taking Jacksonville and the free points, but I’d hammer the Chargers at -9.5 if I were you.
Anyway, that’s all according to BetOnline.ag, who has the over/under set at 49.0 points.
In short, Vegas thinks the Chargers win with a score around 29-20.

Traditionally, the home team in NFL games are given a free three points and then the line goes from there, so this is saying that the Jaguars would lose by a touchdown at home. I’m here to tell you that we’d lose by a lot more.
Until the Jaguars prove they can cover a spread, they can’t... and they’ve been unable to do so in each of the last three weeks.
Bet your mortgage on the Chargers to win in a blowout.
