The Jacksonville Jaguars moved to 1-6 on the 2020 season after losing to the Los Angeles Chargers on the road, their sixth straight loss on the season. It looked dire early, as the Chargers took a 16-0 lead, but the Jaguars stormed back on the legs of rookie running back sensation James Robinson, who picked up a rushing and receiving touchdown to see the Jaguars only down 16-14 at halftime.
The third quarter went the Jaguars way as well, blocking a punt and finding another touchdown pass from Gardner Minshew II, to taking a 29-22 lead. A long touchdown pass from rookie Justin Herbert and a fumbled kick off by Dede Westbrook later, the Chargers quickly took a 36-29 lead.
It was a game that appeared like maybe the Jaguars were finally righting the ship, but ultimately a slow start on offense and too many mistakes and missed plays did them in.
The Jaguars head into the Bye Week 1-6 and one has to wonder how hot the seat is for head coach Doug Marrone.
