Jaguars lose to Chargers but win in SCORIGAMI with 39-29 final score

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars at San Diego Chargers Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars lost 39-29 to the Los Angeles Chargers tonight in Week 7 of the 2020 NFL season.

But they won in something far more important... SCORIGAMI, folks!

Scorigami is a concept thought up by Jon Bois. It is the art of building final scores that have never happened before in NFL history. Due to the unique nature of how points are scored in (American) Football, where it is impossible to score 1 point on its own, as well as the rarity of the two-point safety and eight-point touchdown and two-point conversion, there are a lot of scores that are possible, but have never happened.

That’s right. A final score of 39-29 has never happened in NFL history and we were here to witness history, folks.

Pop that champagne. Bake those cookies. And celebrate the little things we can celebrate from a historically bad season this year, folks.

Go Jaguars.
