Westbrook was carted to the locker room shortly after going down and he did not return to the game. It was just his second game of the season.
The injury, if confirmed, will mean an end to his season and likely his career with the Jaguars.
A former Biletnikoff Award winner and Heisman Trophy finalist at Oklahoma, Westbrook has had an up-and-down career in Jacksonville since being drafted in 2017. He has 160 catches for 1,720 yards and 9 touchdowns in 40 career games with the team.
This is the final year of Westbrook’s rookie contract. He has been a healthy scratch for more games than he’s been active this year.
Prayers up, Dede.
