The Jacksonville Jaguars will be traveling to play the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4 of the 2020 NFL season.
Jacksonville will be looking for a bounce back game. Young receivers like D.J. Chark, Laviska Shenault, and Keelan Cole have been doing well but it’s been undrafted rookie running back James Robinson who has really stolen the show, winning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for September and looking every bit the part of a first round talent that Leonard Fournette was not.
The defense, however, has been a challenge. Myles Jack is playing the best football of his life, but the pass rush is lacking and the defensive backs are young and making mistakes.
Stay with us all through the day as we live blog the game as it happens, and feel free to join the conversation in the comments as the day progresses. We’ll have postgame coverage as well following the conclusion of the game.
LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

4:09 PM: Aldrick Rosas matches field goal for field goal. Onside kick coming up. Jaguars down 33-25.
4:05 PM: Randy Bullock is good from 30 yards out. It’s a two score game again. Jaguars down 33-22.
3:58 PM: Still zero sacks on Joe Burrow. Ugh.
3:56 PM: Jaguars showing signs of life! But a failed two point conversion means Jaguars are down 30-22.

3:41 PM: Randy Bullock good from 46 yards out. Jaguars down 30-16.
3:31 PM: Aldrick Rosas is good from 50 yards out! Jaguars down 27-16.
3:20 PM: Randy Bullock nails it from 40 yards out. Great job to hold the Bengals to a field goal.
3:04 PM: Joe Mixon just ran up the middle for a touchdown. It was a short third down try with the play call very obviously being “just get a yard or two” and the Jaguars find a way, folks. Jaguars down 24-13.
2:47 PM: Disgusting.

2:33 PM: HALFTIME OBSERVATIONS!
1. Aside from the opening drive interception, Gardner Minshew has looked good enough to win.
2. James Robinson: RB1
3. Myles Jack has played at an All-Pro level today.
4. Defense better than expected, but the lack of pass rush on Joe Burrow is... yikes.
5. Laviska Shenault is the best draft pick so far through the first four games.
2:29 PM: Jaguars with a nice drive at the end of the first half. Aldrick Rosas is good from 32 yards out. Jaguars up 13-10 at halftime.
2:16 PM: Joe Mixon takes a swing pass for a 9-yard touchdown. Jaguars tied 10-10 with Bengals. Defense isn’t getting home. This is not a good Cincinnati offensive line and they’re not getting pressure.
2:04 PM: Newly signed Aldrick Rosas is (barely) good from 32 yards out. Jaguars up 10-3.
1:56 PM: In a year where Myles Jack is playing out of his mind, that is the most impressive play he’s made so far.
#Jaguars LB Myles Jack just TOOK THE BALL AWAY on that interception in the end zone. pic.twitter.com/hUVlUaWBrf

1:42 PM: The extra point is good. Jaguars up 7-3.
1:41 PM: TOE. DRAG. SWAG. This is a hell of a route and catch from D.J. Chark. My goodness.
I mean look at this route #Jaguars receiver DJ Chark Jr. is fantastic pic.twitter.com/kYHjgjvTOL

1:30 PM: Randy Bullock good from 35 yards out. Jaguars down 3-0 to Bengals.
1:20 PM: Jaguars put together a decent drive on offense but elect to kick on fourth-and-short. Newly signed kicker Aldrick Rosas misses from 48 yards out. Disappointed in decision to go for it.
1:13 PM: Our defense just got a three-and-out. It’s the first game this year we haven’t allowed a touchdown on the opening drive.
1:10 PM: And the opening drive ends in an interception. Bad decision and bad throw from Gardner Minshew. Sigh...
Yeah, this is just a bad decision and a bad throw from Gardner Minshew. pic.twitter.com/9XOOeFOVaF

1:00 PM: Jaguars win toss and elect to receive and start on offense. LET’S GO!
11:36 AM: Inactives for Jacksonville today include K Stephen Hauschka, QB Jake Luton, WR Dede Westbrook, CB Josiah Scott, CB Luq Barcoo, OL Brandon Linder, and DT Daniel Ekuale.
So the kicker we signed to replace our injured kicker is... injured.

8:30 AM: Looks like a banged up Joe Mixon is going to play today. Should still see a healthy dose of Giovani Bernard.
Bengals’ RB Joe Mixon, added to the injury report Saturday with a chest injury that left him questionable, is expected to play Sunday vs. the Jaguars, per source.

7:00 AM: This is the news that dominated the air yesterday. New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton tested positive for COVID-19 and their game against the New England Patriots is being postponed until Tuesday night. It’ll be interesting to see what this does for the NFL’s stance going forward.
Patriots’ QB Cam Newton tested positive and is out for Sunday’s game vs. Kansas City, per @FieldYates and me.
