Jaguars vs. Bengals: What’s your score prediction for Week 4?

The Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2) and Cincinnati Bengals (0-2-1) are battling it out in Week 4 of the 2020 NFL season.

Will this be a bounce back game for Gardner Minshew? Will it be Joe Burrow’s first professional win?

Before the game begins, we wanted to ask the Big Cat Country team (and you!) a simple question... and we’re going to have John Shipley of Sports Illustrated join us this season too!

“How will the Jaguars do today?”

While the Jaguars have disappointed lately, they should get a nice confidence boost against a rookie in Joe Burrow. Burrow has looked fantastic however, so it won’t be easy.

Jaguars win 31-20

Record: 1-2

I just think Joe Burrow and this Bengals passing offense is too much for a young, mistake-prone Jaguars secondary. Prove me wrong, Jacksonville.

Bengals win 30-24

Record: 1-2

I am fairly confident the Jaguars will bounce back after a bad performance against the Miami Dolphins last week. I still have a lot of concerns about Jacksonville’s defense, so I expect Joe Burrow to be able to move the ball, and keep the game relatively tight. But at the end of the day, James Robinson should be able to run all over Cincinnati’s poor rush defense, and Gardner Minshew and the Jags get it done.

Jaguars win 27-24

Record: 1-2

This game is going to be close, because both teams have talent where the other team lacks. However, I think the Jaguars running game will give them the lead early, and they’ll hold on to win.

Jaguars win 24-21

Record: 0-3

I can’t in good faith expect the Jaguars defense to stop an opposing offense this season. They have yet to do it through 3 games, and they won’t do it against a rookie quarterback in Joe Burrow either. Jacksonville has some promising offensive drives, but the defensive struggles put them in a poor position yet again.

Bengals win 33-20

Record: 0-3

Jaguars turn it over a few times and ultimately can’t stop Joe Burrow at all.

Bengals win 33-20

Record: 1-2
