The Jacksonville Jaguars today signed first-year kicker Jon Brown to the team’s practice squad after placing kicker Aldrick Rosas on the practice squad injured list.
Brown has previously spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals and the San Francisco 49ers after going undrafted in 2016. He originally played soccer at Kentucky before transferring to Louisville and making the switch to football during his junior year.
This makes the fourth kicker the Jaguars have signed throughout the first four games. After Josh Lambo got hurt the team signed Brandon Wright shortly before their Week 3 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. He got hurt. Then the team signed veteran Stephen Hauschka who got hurt in practice. So they replaced him with Aldrick Rosas who is now, you guessed it, hurt.
The Jaguars currently have 16 players on their practice squad.
