2020 NFL odds Week 12: Jaguars are 6.5-point underdogs vs. Browns

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at Cleveland Browns Scott Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently 6.5-point underdogs for their Week 12 home matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

I don’t even want to imagine what the line would be in Cleveland.

That’s right, folks. The Browns — the team we derided for years by always coming back to well, at least we aren’t them — is favored to win by a touchdown. On the road. Against our Jaguars.

That’s all according to Bovada, who has the over/under set at 49.0 points.

In short, Vegas thinks the Steelers win with a score around 28-21.

Traditionally, the home team in NFL games are given a free three points and then the line goes from there, so this is saying that the Jaguars would lose by two scores away. The team looked somewhat competent up at Lambeau Field but fell straight down to earth last Sunday against Ben Roethlisberger & Co.

If you’ve bet against the Jaguars every single week, you’d have won twice as often as you’d have lost. There’s no reason to ditch that strategy now. Bet the mortgage on the Browns winning by a touchdown. The moral arc of the universe bends towards chaos.

What do you think? Are you betting the line on either team? Or are you going over or under? Let us know in the comments below!
