2020 NFL odds Week 13: Jaguars are 10-point underdogs vs. Vikings

NFL: Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently 10-point underdogs for their Week 13 away matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

That’s up from 9.5 points before Mike Glennon was announced as the starter and Adam Thielen reportedly set to return. I think it only gets worse, honestly.

That’s all according to Bovada, who has the over/under set at 52.0 points.

In short, Vegas thinks the Vikings win with a score around 31-21.

Traditionally, the home team in NFL games are given a free three points and then the line goes from there, so this is saying that the Jaguars would lose by a touchdown at home and... sure, why not? The team has looked competent in recent weeks (with the exception of the Pittsburgh Steelers game) so it’ll be “competitive” if you want to call it that, but it’ll be a loss nonetheless.

If you’ve bet against the Jaguars every single week, you’d have won nearly twice as often as you’d have lost. There’s no reason to ditch that strategy now. Bet the mortgage on the Vikings winning by double digits. The moral arc of the universe bends towards chaos.
