The Jacksonville Jaguars will likely target only a handful of players in free agency next month with maybe one or two (at the most) marquee signings.

Could the Atlanta Falcons have a player entering free agency that we could sign?

Here’s a list of all the Falcons free agents in 2020, according to OverTheCap.com.

Firstly, I had no idea Johnathan Cyprien was on the Falcons. What a career that guy has had.

As far as players the Jaguars could try and sign, Vic Beasley is really the only name that stands out. The Jaguars have very little depth at the edge rusher position. It’s Yannick Ngakoue, Josh Allen, and Dawuane Smoot. If Beasley could be signed to a deal that’s around $8 million per year, he’d be a good addition to a unit that doesn’t know whether it’s keeping its most experienced player in Ngakoue yet.

Personally, I’d be putting whatever effort I would expend on Beasley into re-signing Ngakoue and having edge rusher — a premium position in the NFL — consist of a core of guys you evaluated and you drafted. But the Jaguars could move on from Ngakoue. It’s a mistake, but it could happen.

What do you think? Are there any Falcons players you could see the Jaguars targeting in free agency? Let us know in the comments below!
