The Jacksonville Jaguars are reportedly “closing a deal” with free agent tight end Tyler Eifert, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The #Jaguars and former #Bengals first-round TE Tyler Eifert are working diligently towards closing a deal, source said. If completed, it would be another free agent move in Jax to fill a spot that plagued them last year -- and one that coach Doug Marrone really wanted.

Eifert played in all 16 games last season — something he’s never done in his NFL career to date — but had just 43 catches for 436 yards and one touchdown to show for it.
He’ll look to get back to his 2015 form where he was a Pro Bowl talent with 13 receiving touchdowns under new offensive coordinator Jay Gruden.
