The 2020 NFL Draft is just hours away. It is actually here. And the Jacksonville Jaguars have two picks in the first round and a player in Yannick Ngakoue who could be traded for a third first round pick. Will they try and trade down? Will they stay put and go after a defensive lineman? What about Isaiah Simmons?
We’ll be updating this live blog all day (and running live blogs every day of the draft) and packing in every rumor, piece of news, and mention of the Jaguars.

10:24 PM: Ugh. The Dallas Cowboys got CeeDee Lamb just a few spots ahead of us. Hopefully Justin Jefferson is still available at No. 20 overall.

A new, versatile weapon for the defense.

9:11 PM: The Carolina Panthers have taken Derrick Brown at No. 7 overall. We might get Isaiah Simmons. Oh my God.

9:07 PM: Oh man, the Los Angeles Chargers have made Justin Herbert the No. 6 overall pick.
Eyes on the future.
— Oregon Football (@oregonfootball) April 24, 2020
Congrats to Eugene’s own and our QB1 Justin Herbert on being selected by @Chargers with the No. 6 pick in the first round. #GoDucks | #NFLDraft pic.twitter.com/WYiYJLoEN1
9:06 PM: They did it. The Miami Dolphins tanked for Tua. I am so proud of them.

8:48 PM: I really thought Isaiah Simmons would go No. 4 overall to the New York Giants. This is good news, folks.
Andrew Thomas to Giants. A tackle, but not the one I had pegged.
— Big Blue View (@bigblueview) April 24, 2020
8:39 PM: Noooooooooo... Jeff Okudah is off the board at No. 3 overall to the Detroit Lions. No Dave Caldwell magic yet.
With the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 #NFLDraft, the @Lions select @OhioStateFB CB Jeff Okudah!

8:26 PM: Joe Burrow is officially the top pick. Let’s go.
With the 1st selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select...

7:38 PM: Well, there you have it. Joe Burrow will be the No. 1 overall draft pick in 2020.
The Bengals want to submit their pick in quickly to the league, but TV may slow them down a bit, I’m told. Director of player personnel Duke Tobin will submit Joe Burrow’s name to the league, and HC Zac Taylor will call the Heisman Trophy winner. #NFLDraft2020

4:33 PM: Dave Caldwell recently called Lions general manager Bob Quinn. Could a trade up be in play for Jacksonville? And for which player? Jeff Okudah makes sense, as does a quarterback.
Here’s something worth monitoring tonight: Jaguars’ GM Dave Caldwell just called Lions’ GM Bob Quinn about this evening’s picks, per source.

3:18 PM: More clarity on a potential Yannick Ngakoue trade. Please, please, please let a deal get done.
Would not be shocked if @Raiders executed a trade for @Jaguars Yannick Ngakoue, but sense is Raiders operating prudently rather than desperately so it'll be on their terms. They can make it work with the money
— Vincent Bonsignore (@VinnyBonsignore) April 23, 2020
2:50 PM: Oh no.
What if this big ass storm knocks out Caldwells power
— eric, best drafter™️ (@ericsburner) April 23, 2020
1:40 PM: Leonard Fournette is playing on this team in 2020.
heard from multiple execs that there's been zero movement on a Leonard Fournette trade thus far. But many are expecting Friday to be busy with moves in general - with Day 1 in the books, teams have all day to figure out what they want.
— Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN) April 23, 2020
10:58 AM: I... did not expect Marqise Lee to sign with the New England Patriots.
Patriots are signing former Jaguars’ WR Marqise Lee to a one-year contract, per source. Trade a TE, land a WR.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 23, 2020
10:09 AM: Apparently, it’s not the trade compensation that’s holding up a deal but Yannick Ngakoue’s trade demands. You love to see it.
"the biggest impediment to doing a deal isn’t the Jaguars’ trade demands but the player’s contractual demands." https://t.co/bHta8jM65O
— John Shipley (@_John_Shipley) April 23, 2020
9:06 AM: Call me crazy, but I still think a deal gets done today.
The clock is running out on a deal for #Jaguars franchised pass-rusher Yannick Ngakoue and there hasn’t been much traction to date. These deals are complicated and difficult — both in settling on compensation and doing an extension with his agent. At this point, unlikely.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 23, 2020
7:24 AM: How many legs are we talkin’ here, Big Blue?
Source tells me this one has legs, with "serious talks" being held for Jags' picks at 9/42.
— Big Blue View (@bigblueview) April 23, 2020
7:13 AM: This is an absolutely insane mock draft and I am here for it no matter how bad it would be for Jacksonville.
My final mock draft, 3.0.
— Peter Schrager (@PSchrags) April 23, 2020
Tua goes to...Jacksonville.
Herbert goes to...Miami.
Derrick Brown to the Panthers.
Isaiah Simmons to the Cardinals.
DeAndre Swift to the Patriots.
And lots of trades.
Enjoy.https://t.co/9u68k89Xlk@gmfb @nflnetwork
7:00 AM: This is from last night. Thank God it’s Jason La Canfora and therefore not correct at all.
Hearing lot of recent buzz about NYG dealing down and JAX perhaps dealing up (one would think for QB). Not sure what to make of it but several GMs have brought it up
