There’s been a lot of talk of the Jacksonville Jaguars trading down in the first round... but what if they trade up tonight?
That’s what Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports thinks will happen and he thinks it’s because Jacksonville has their sights set on a quarterback.
Hearing lot of recent buzz about NYG dealing down and JAX perhaps dealing up (one would think for QB). Not sure what to make of it but several GMs have brought it up

Personally, I’d file this under the category of “uh, it’s La Canfora so don’t believe it” but it would also be monumentally stupid so don’t count it out just yet for the Jaguars.
Our friends over at Big Blue View are confirming the rumor though, so it has legs:
A source indicated to me that there have been “serious talks” between the two teams about the Giants getting the ninth and 42nd picks from Jacksonville in exchange for No. 4.
The target at No. 9 for the Giants in a trade-down scenario could be Alabama offensive tackle Jedrick Wills, should be remain on the board.
The 42nd pick would help the Giants make up for losing the 68th overall pick in the trade for Leonard Williams, and would give the Giants picks at 36 and 42 in Round 2.
Go Jaguars.
