Happy Wednesday, everyone! Here’s all the Jacksonville Jaguars news that’s fit to print... around the Internet.

We’ve got Chris Thompson news and quotes, AFC South quarterback rankings, and more.

Chris Thompson expects to be good fit in Jay Gruden offense

When the Jaguars pursued running back Chris Thompson in free agency last month, he did not need much convincing about their offense being a good fit for his skill set.

He knew from the way Jaguars offensive coordinator Jay Gruden utilized him when they were paired together with Washington that he is likely to be featured as a third-down back again.

Jaguars face coverings to benefit charity

Everything is a bit wacky right now with everything surrounding COVID-19, not just in Jacksonville, but all over the United States and world. We hope that you are safe wherever you are.

If you have been looking for a face covering, a reusable Jaguars design is now available.

What’s more is that all proceeds from these masks go to charity!

Ranking every AFC South quarterback

The Jacksonville Jaguars are heading into the season with Gardner Minshew at quarterback. Most fans, writers, and coaches agree that the quarterback is the most important player on the field.

The Jaguars have been in quarterback hell for many years but they are not the only team that has quarterback issues. In fact, the AFC South has three different starting quarterbacks to begin the season than were starters one year ago. Minshew is included in this list.

So, how would you rank the starting quarterbacks in the AFC South? Is Minshew dead last?

Breaking down K’Lavon Chaisson’s production at LSU

When the Jacksonville Jaguars selected LSU defensive end/outside linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson with the No. 20 overall pick in last month’s NFL Draft, they made a major investment into a position which has become the driving force of their defense for the last several years.

In Chaisson, who many draft analysts projected to be the No. 2 pass-rusher behind Ohio State’s Chase Young, the Jaguars took a roll of the dice on a young, athletic, and still developing edge player. The Jaguars needed to prioritize their pass-rush due to the uncertain future of defensive end Yannick Ngakoue, and in drafting Chaisson they made a call for both the present and the future.

How a winding road at quarterback has gotten us where we are today

The significance of stability at the quarterback position in the NFL can’t be understated. It has been proven over and over again — If you want to find consistent success in the NFL and ultimately give your team a shot at the Super Bowl, you need to find an answer at the quarterback position.

Since 2011, the Jacksonville Jaguars have started seven different quarterbacks, with none having a winning record as a starter (though one is currently at .500 ... but we will get to that). The Jaguars’ have gone through draft busts, failed veteran options, and regrettable contracts, all along going 43-101 in the nine-year process.

How many games are the Jaguars winning in 2020?

The 2020 NFL regular season schedule is out and the Jacksonville Jaguars will have their work cut out for them, especially in the middle of the schedule.

Without further ado, let’s go week by week and make some win-loss predictions!
