Way Too Early 2021 Mock Draft

This mock draft used The Draft Network’s draft simulator to complete this draft.

Rd1: #1: Trevor Lawrence: QB: Clemson

if we’re picking here, we probably should draft the next QB to be considered a can’t miss prospect. He’s got a big arm, prototypical size, athleticism, and a leader on the field. Everything you want in a QB with very few flaws to his game.

Rd1: #17: Travels Etienne: RB, Clemson:

Fournette is likely gone after this season. Etienne has experience with Lawrence and can continue to grow together. He’s a modern NFL RB that is a strong, fast RB who can also be effective out of the backfield as a receiver.

Rd 2: #33: Brevin Jordan: TE

The best prospect on the board. We need TE help anyways, and Tyler Eifert is on a 1 year deal and is often injured. Brevin Jordan is the 2nd or 3rd best TE in the draft, depending on who you ask, as people tend to swap Jordan for Friermuth, with Kyle Pitts as the top prospect at the position. Pitts is the guy I wanted with his versatility to play TE or out wide as a receiver, but Jordan is the next best option on this draft board, they believe him to be the second best TE.

Rd3 #65: Daniel Faalele: LT::

Cam Robinson has been inconsistent and often injured. Here’s a monster of a replace in Daniel Faalele, who is 6’8" and 400 Lbs. With a strong season, he’ll rise up draft boards due to his size.

Rd4: #97: Deonte Brown: IOL:

More OL help. I’ve seen Brown get mocked in the first round, so I’m surprised to see him here. He’d be a great addition to the OL at either Guard position.

Rd4: #113: BJ Foster: S

Another Safety to provide depth and competition at the position.

Rd5;#129: Xavier Kelly: DT

DL depth. Could replace Taven Bryan at some point.

Rd6: #161: Nico Collins: WR:

Another bigger body WR to give Trevor Lawrence another weapon.

Rd7: #193: Tyler Vaughns: Slot WR:

Dede Westbrook is a FA after this season.
