The 2020 NFL preseason is reportedly being cut in half, according to Pro Football Talk, reducing the number of games to two.
Weeks 1 and 4 are being scrapped, which would have been against the Carolina Panthers and the Atlanta Falcons.

I would be surprised if the preseason isn’t completely done away with altogether before next month and if at least a quarter of the schedule is either cancelled or tagged onto the end of the season, effectively delaying the season two months.
I’d also be surprised if regular season scheduling wasn’t affected in some way... whether that’s cancelling half the season and allowing for bye weeks every other week or just straight up cancelling a month or two of games remains to be seen.
