2020 NFL odds Week 2: Jaguars are 10.5 point underdogs vs. Titans

NFL: Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently 10.5 point underdogs against the Tennessee Titans, a line that has inched a little towards Jacksonville since their Week 1 win on Sunday but only by about a point or so.

That’s according to Bovada, who has the over/under set at 43 points.

In short, Vegas thinks the Jaguars lose somewhere in the ballpark of 27-17 to this weekend.

Traditionally, the home team in NFL games are given a free three points and then the line goes from there, so this is saying that the Jaguars would lose by a touchdown in Jacksonville.

I think this line is going to inch closer Jacksonville’s way, especially considering Tennessee hasn’t played a game yet. Their game against the Denver Broncos is predicted to be a close one. If the Jaguars lost yesterday, I could see a double-digit line being justified. As it stands now, I might just take the free points and the over. Jacksonville proved their offense is more than functional enough to score. If their defense can continue to play “bend-but-don’t-break” football, this Week 2 matchup is going to be closer than people think and the score will be higher than 43 combined points.
