It’s that time of week, folks. We went 4-0 last week, so maybe we aren’t sleeping on the couch after all!

How does Week 2 look and what are the best games to throw some money at? Let’s check it out!

Note: I used Bovada’s odds on Thursday afternoon except for the Jaguars one... I hammered that +10.5 line when it came out.

Cleveland Browns vs. Cincinnati Bengals (under 43.5)

It’s Thursday night, so you know things are going to get a little wacky. After a blowout loss, I could see the Browns wanting to give Nick Chubb the rock as well as a few turnovers by rookie Joe Burrow — which means a long, drawn out snoozefest. Works for me.

Bet on these two teams to keep the scoring low.

New England Patriots (+4.0) at Seattle Seahawks

I think Cam Newton and this offense are good enough to keep things close and this Patriots defense is good enough to keep things closer.

Bet on the Patriots to lose by less than a field goal or win outright.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers (over 47.5)

Tom Brady is about to face a weaker defense at home after an embarrassing Week 1 loss. The Panthers just put up 30 points.

Bet on these two teams to keep the scoring high.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+9.0) at Tennessee Titans

Like I said earlier, I cheated and got this early when the line opened at 10.5 points. But Gardner Minshew is good enough to keep this a tight contest. Plus, the Titans aren’t exactly a high-powered offense. If Minshew can continue to limit mistakes, this could be a low-to-medium scoring contest that will stay within a possession by game’s end.

Bet on the Jaguars to keep it close.

Overall: 4-0-0
