The Jacksonville Jaguars will be hosting the Miami Dolphins in Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season tonight on Thursday Night Football.

Jacksonville’s offense has been the star of the show early in the season. Gardner Minshew is playing lights out. Young receivers like D.J. Chark, Laviska Shenault, and Keelan Cole have been giving the opposing secondary fits. Undrafted rookie running back James Robinson looks like a first rounder. And the offensive line is playing much better than expected.

The defense, however, has been a challenge. Myles Jack is playing the best football of his life, but the pass rush is lacking and the defensive backs are young and making mistakes.

It’s likely going to be a high-scoring shootout on national television and I can’t wait, folks.

Stay with us all through the day as we live blog the game as it happens, and feel free to join the conversation in the comments as the day progresses. We’ll have postgame coverage as well following the conclusion of the game.

LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Live blog

11:15 PM: Fire Todd Wash.

10:57 PM: The comeback starts now.

10:24 PM: I am speechless.

10:10 PM: A good punt is the highlight of the third quarter. We are in SAD TERRITORY, folks.

9:43 PM: Halftime!

9:24 PM: We are losing 21-7. Everything sucks.

9:06 PM: JAMES ROBINSON FOREVER! Jaguars down 14-7 at the start of the second quarter.

8:50 PM: We are down 14-0. It’s not even 9 o’clock.

8:43 PM: Chris Conley. Bruh.

8:37 PM: Miami’s opening drive goes for an easy touchdown. STOP DEFERRING.

8:30 PM: The cart is coming out for Leon Jacobs. Oh no.

8:26 PM: Putting the defense on the field first is just an absolutely moronic move at this point. They get gassed on the opening drive every game.

8:18 PM: THEY ALL PICKED US TO WIN AND NOW I AM NERVOUS.

4:05 PM: They should stay this way forever, in my opinion.

2:03 PM: Wide receiver DJ Chark Jr. has been ruled OUT for tonight’s matchup. Chark is dealing with a chest/back injury sustained during the first quarter of last week’s game against the Tennessee Titans.

12:34 PM: Pepsi will be putting Gardner Minshew’s ‘stache on drinks when he wins? I’ll take a million please.

10:31 AM: Did every member of the Big Cat Country team pick the Jaguars to win tonight? Yes. Yes we did.

9:00 AM: Oh, baby! These vintage highlights from Keenan McCardell and Jimmy Smith are beautiful, y’all.

8:35 AM: Russell Wilson, you say? I see the vision.

6:48 AM: Well, this is good news to wake up to. D.J. Chark is still questionable for tonight’s game, meaning he has a 50-50 chance of playing, but if he’s trending upward that’s encouraging. We’ll monitor this closely.
