The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed second-year linebacker Leon Jacobs on injured reserve. His season is over.
Newly signed Cassius Marsh is the next man up at the SAM linebacker position.
More brutal injury news: Jaguars' LB Leon Jacobs tore his ACL last night and is out for the season, per source.

Jacobs finishes the season with three tackles and one tackle for a loss.
A fourth round pick for the Seahawks in 2014, Marsh never produced enough to hold a roster spot for longer than a season or two after being released in 2017. He has 14.0 sacks, 28 quarterback hits, and 25 tackles for a loss in six seasons.
He has been durable, however — he has missed just one game since 2015.
Marsh’s father, a wide receiver who played college football at Utah, was drafted in the seventh round of the 1995 NFL Draft by the Jaguars.
