The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently 3.0 point underdogs on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals, but I expect that line to inch a little further away from them as Joe Burrow and that offense is getting better week in and week out.
That’s according to Bovada, who has the over/under set at 45.5 points.
In short, Vegas thinks the Bengals win by a score of around 24-21.
Traditionally, the home team in NFL games are given a free three points and then the line goes from there, so this is saying that the Jaguars and Bengals are equal teams on a neutral field which is a little more palatable when you consider just how bad our defense has been.
As I said, I think this line is going to get further away from Jacksonville but not by much — think somewhere in the neighborhood of -4.0 or -4.5.
I want to stay away from that line but that over looks too enticing to pass up. These are two good offenses and two bad defenses. We were within a field goal of getting the over last week and with dropped passes in the red zone last week by Jacksonville, losing on the over was more of a bad beat then a bad play.
What do you think? Are you betting the line on either the Jaguars or Bengals? Or are you going over or under? Let us know in the comments below!
