RB Devonta Freeman, who visited Jacksonville this weekend, was unable to reach agreement with the Jaguars, so he remains a free agent.
Freeman was reported as visiting with the Jaguars on Saturday. He was released by the Atlanta Falcons in March.
After being selected in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft, Freeman has spent his entire career in Atlanta. He’s rushed 951 times for 3,972 yards (4.2 yards per carry) and 32 touchdowns. He also has 257 receptions for 2,015 yards and 11 touchdowns. But in 14 games last season, Freeman averaged a career low 3.6 yards per carry, with just 656 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
