The Jacksonville Jaguars will be speaking with Houston Texans defensive coordinator and defensive line coach Anthony Weaver, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
Texans' Anthony Weaver to interview with Jaguars' Urban Meyer:https://t.co/V9WAz66knF

The Jaguars have been linked with a wide array of coaches on both sides of the ball since they hired Urban Meyer as their new head coach and Weaver is another name on that list. I would presume Weaver would interview for some capacity on the defensive line, however the Jaguars are also rumored to be interested in Baltimore Ravens defensive line coach Joe Cullen in the same capacity, albeit with an elevated role.
Perhaps the Jaguars could bring both on board with different focuses on the defensive line.
Weaver has been with the Texans coaching staff since 2016, coaching the offensive line, and was elevated to the defensive coordinator for the 2020 season. Weaver was also a graduate assistant for the Florida Gators, hired by Urban Meyer.
