The Jacksonville Jaguars opened the week as 3.5 point underdogs on the road against the Seattle Seahawks, however the line has shifted to now be a 4 point dog on the road based on our the odds from our friends over at DraftKings sportsbook. It’s not a big shock that the line shifted slightly in the Seahawks favor, despite losing on Monday Night Football to the New Orleans Saints.
The Seahawks will once again be starting Geno Smith at quarterback due to the injury to star quarterback Russell Wilson, but the oddsmakers still favor the Seahawks. That’s not a surprise however, since the Jaguars have been kind of a mess through the first few weeks of the season and often end up falling apart at the end, regardless of opponent.
The Jaguars are coming off not only their first win of the season against the Miami Dolphins in London, but also coming off their bye week. Realistically a +4 line for the Jaguars is lower than I would have guess, even with Geno Smith starting.
