The Jacksonville Jaguars face a tough task heading to the Pacific Northwest to face the Seattle Seahawks on the road. Despite the fact that the Seahawks are coming off a three game losing streak, they’re favored by 4-points facing the Jaguars based on the DraftKings sportsbook. The Jaguars, coming off their first win of the season and a bye week, should make it a close game but have a tough challenge ahead of them.
The biggest problem for the Jaguars will be the Seahawks receiving corps, despite missing All Pro quarterback Russell Wilson. D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett have been causing problems for even the best secondary groups in the NFL. The combination of Metcalf and Lockett will likely be a nightmare for the Jaguars secondary that has struggled with wrangling in opposing team receivers, especially ones the caliber of the Seahawks duo.
On the offensive side of the ball for the Jaguars, it’s possible they might be able to get into a shootout with the Seahawks, but that’s going to be leaning on the arm of a rookie quarterback and a receiver group who has yet to really emerge. On the flipside, it could be very possible the Jaguars go towards a grindfest and just lean heavy on running back James Robinson.
