Happy Monday, everyone! Here’s all the Jacksonville Jaguars news that’s fit to print... or find from around the Internet.

We’ve got Urban Meyer’s former college players talking about our new head coach, additions to a growing coaching staff, potential trade targets, and more.

Urban Meyer’s college players weigh in on new Jaguars’ head coach

The move to the NFL was something Urban Meyer had been contemplating for a decade and seriously considering for the past year.

Meyer — who spent a total of 17 seasons in the college ranks as head coach of Bowling Green, Utah, Florida and Ohio State — did significant research. He talked with former players about the culture in NFL locker rooms, about what motivates players, and what the grind of the season is like. How are the relationships between coaches and players? What is a typical NFL work week like?

It’s not going to be easy. But some of Meyer’s former players who have NFL experience believe he will be able to successfully make the transition.

Jaguars expected to hire Tosh Lupoi as defensive line coach, per report

The dominoes continue to fall for Urban Meyer’s new coaching staff in Jacksonville. The latest news being reported is that veteran defensive coach Tosh Lupoi is expected to join Meyer’s staff as a defensive line coach, according to Bruce Feldman of The Athletic and FOX Sports.

3 former Florida Gators players the Jaguars should target in the NFL Draft

In his introductory press conference, Trent Baalke said he’s learned from his past mistakes and if that’s the case, the Jaguars will be in a prime position to quickly turn things around after finishing the 2020 season 1-15. The team has 11 draft selections at their disposal and four of them in the first two rounds.

While the Jaguars need to add talent to their defense, they will likely take a quarterback with the first overall pick in 2021’s draft. However, they should also add a few weapons to an offense that finished 30th in points last season. For that reason, they need to target these three Florida Gators in the selection meeting.

Should the Jaguars trade for Orlando Brown, Jr?

Rarely does a Pro Bowl offensive tackle come available via trade in the NFL, but when it happens, plenty of teams will understandably jump on the opportunity to land him. That could be the case with Ravens tackle Orlando Brown Jr., who is set to enter the last year of his contract.

For the Jaguars, left tackle Cam Robinson is due to hit free agency after finishing the final year of his rookie contract in 2020. There has been no indication from the new regime that he will be retained, however, there is still plenty of time to make that decision either via a long-term deal or franchise tag.

What is the most pressing need for this Jaguars roster?

Maybe no team is poised to have a more important offseason for their short- and long-term future than the Jaguars entering 2021. The team has a new head coach in Urban Meyer, a new general manager in Trent Baalke, and eventually a new quarterback to lead the franchise.

But the Jaguars are fresh off a 1-15 season and have a lot of work ahead of them if they want to get back to being a competitive team. A 12-36 record over the last three seasons summarizes just how much the Jaguars’ roster has deteriorated in recent years.

But which of the team’s many needs are the most pressing? Which positions deserve the most attention and thought as the Jaguars navigate the offseason? We will go through what we see as the team’s eight largest needs in a series of articles that examines two needs at a time.

BCC Q&A: Will the Jaguars trade up in the 2021 NFL Draft?

In last week’s Q&A column, we talked about the Senior Bowl, trading draft picks, NFL quarterbacks wielding too much power, and (of course) Trevor Lawrence.
