The brothers will be united again, as reports expect former Seattle Seahawks LB Shaquem Griffin to sign with Jacksonville after Seattle refuses to place the restricted free agent tender on him.

Griffin is primarily a special teamer, who has 25 total tackles and one sack in his entire career, according to Pro Football Reference. Griffin is also the brother of CB Shaquill Griffin, who is expected to sign a three-year, $44.5 million deal with Jacksonville as well.
The Griffin brothers are from St. Petersburg, Florida, and played their college ball at the University of Central Florida, so they’ll be returning to their home state to play for the Jaguars.
Shaquem Griffin was a favorite of Pete Carroll’s in Seattle, often giving the coaches energy with his hustle and effort. During Seattle’s victory over Dallas last season, Carroll said that Griffin’s play and effort late in the game made him feel “fired up.”
Griffin is expected to contribute on special teams primarily, but could get into the game for his play speed.
