The Jacksonville Jaguars are on the clock. Man, does it feel good to say that!

Ever just the same.
Ever a surprise.
Ever as before and ever just as sure as the sun will rise...

It’s a tale as old as time and tune as old as rhyme—the consummate No. 1 overall draft pick and top quarterback in this year’s NFL Draft is good, but is he good enough?

Gil Brandt is the latest victim of galaxy brain-ing what should be a slam dunk decision, tweeting out last night that he might pick Zach Wilson over Trevor Lawrence and that he was surprised Urban Meyer didn’t attend BYU’s pro day.

First off... bruh.

Second... you know what? I’m not going to get into Urban Meyer telegraphing what he wants to do more loudly than the first guy on the Titanic to see the iceberg. I’m also not going to bring up the fact that you thought Nick Foles was the top free agent signing back in 2019.

(Reminder: He won as many games in Jacksonville as you did, dear reader.)

No, I won’t do it. That would be disrespectful.

Instead, I’m going to let you do the talking. Here are the best tweets explaining why Gil would tweet such a thing, or just downright clowning him.

If you have a tweet at Gil’s preposterous opinion that you’d like us to retweet, please tag us at @BigCatCountry.

Go Jaguars.
