In a couple of moves to get the roster back to the maximum 90 players, the Jaguars have signed WR/PR Pharaoh Cooper and placed WR/ST Terry Godwin on Injured Reserve. Cooper is a former First-Team All Pro and Pro Bowl return man, who in 2017 had an average of 27.4 yards per kick return and 12.5 yards per punt return. He also added on a kickoff returned for a touchdown in 2017. Most recently, Cooper played for the Carolina Panthers in 2020.

Godwin posted the following photo earlier this morning on IG. Jaguars PR tells me he is doing okay, no official word on why he is in the hospital. pic.twitter.com/sqkUWg27Qv
With the addition of Cooper to the roster, it gives the Jaguars two elite return men along with special teamer Jamal Agnew, who signed a three year deal earlier this offseason. Urban Meyer has always placed a large importance on special teams, stemming back to his time at the University of Utah. By adding Cooper, it gives Meyer his 90th man, who can make a massive impact on special teams.
