Today, the Jaguars announced a variety of moves that includes placing 2020 first-round selection, cornerback CJ Henderson on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list.

Jacksonville is slated to kick off its training camp next week after the veterans report on the 27th. The team’s rookies have already reported for training camp, arriving on Monday.

Along with Henderson, the Jaguars officially announced quarterback Jake Luton has been placed on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list. According to multiple reports, Luton’s placement was due to a positive test result. Second-year CB Luq Barcoo was also placed on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list.

Players who are placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list are players who have either tested positive for COVID-19 or who have been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.

Made official today, Jacksonville placed linebacker Leon Jacobs on the team’s Active/Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list and LB Dylan Moses on the Active/Non-Football Injury list.

Both players will be able to come off of the list and fully participate in camp if they are deemed healthy to do so. Since they were placed on the lists prior to hitting the field, they will not be forced to miss the season.

The Jaguars will have to anticipate Henderson’s return after he is removed from the reserve/COVID-19 list. He has already missed much of the on-field activities this offseason, recovering from shoulder surgery due to an injury suffered last season. The team drafted another cornerback, Tyson Campbell, with the first pick in the second round this year.

They also signed former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Shaquill Griffin during free agency in March.
