The Jacksonville Jaguars placed fourth-year defensive lineman Taven Bryan on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced on Tuesday evening.

Bryan is yet to practice since training camp started after being placed on Jacksonville’s active/non-football injury list last week. He has not been visibly present on the practice field for the majority of camp thus far.

Bryan, a first-round pick in 2018 (No. 29 overall) has played in 48 career games with 17 starts. He has recorded 69 total tackles, with 3.5 sacks, one pass defended and one forced fumble during his time in Jacksonville. While Bryan has flashed his potential from time to time, consistency has escaped him and he’s had his struggles.

Bryan, cornerback CJ Henderson and quarterback CJ Beathard are currently on the Reserve/COVID-19 list for the Jaguars. Meanwhile, safety Jarrod Wilson and cornerback Chris Claybrooks were taken off of the list on Tuesday. If a player is on the list, it does not necessarily mean that player has tested positive for COVID-19, but it could mean that they were in close contact with someone who did test positive for the virus.
