Jaguars vs. Bengals: What’s your score prediction for Week 4?

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars (0-3) and Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) have the eyes of a nation upon them tonight as they battle it out on Thursday Night Football.

Before the game begins, we wanted to ask the Big Cat Country team (and you!) a simple question:

“How will the Jaguars do today?”

Alfie Crow (@AlfieBCC)

Jaguars lose a close one, as the difference is the Bengals have a Ja’marr Chase and the Jaguars don’t.

Bengals win 28-20

Think about it — what would be the most Jaguars thing? For them to win a game they have no business winning on national television? Or to move into third all-time in NFL losing streaks?

Jaguars win 30-20

The Jaguars fight and continue to improve, and Trevor Lawrence makes less mistakes, but the Bengals have too much firepower on offense and a surprisingly stout defense. It is too much to overcome for Jacksonville.

This is the year. Trevor Lawrence has improved each week in this new offense. He’s focused. He’s having fun. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a Jaguars victory.

Jaguars win 28-24

I have no clue why, but the Jaguars seem like a team that can steal one on a short week. I think the defense looked better, and the offense finally looks semi-functional. We will see.

This just feels like a weird game the Jaguars have a shot in.

Per my Twitter Poll this morning, a lot of folks believe Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are about to torch the Jaguars’ secondary. But Cincy has the 28th best passing offense in the NFL. And while Joe Mixon will surely get his, the Jaguars’ rush defense is vastly improved. Throw in the fact that the Bengals are coming off their first win in Pittsburgh since 2015, and this is the perfect trap game. Also, my bosses decided not to send me to Cincy at the last minute, so this means the Jaguars are picking up their first win in 382 days — them’s the rules.

Go follow Mia. She’s great.

Jaguars win 27-23
