Jaguars vs. Titans: Week 11 live blog and open thread

The Jaguars play host to the division rival Tennessee Titans at 1 p.m. ET in Jacksonville.

The Jaguars got their teeth kicked in last week by the 49ers, but as Rocky says, “It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.”

PREGAME

-Since 2022, Jacksonville is 6-3 against divisional opponents. This Sunday, Head Coach Doug Pederson can get his seventh win in his first ten divisional games.

-In their last nine divisional game matchups, the Jaguars have outscored opponents 229-166. Jacksonville is looking for its first three-game win streak against Tennessee since the 2005-06 seasons.

1st quarter

-Jaguars kick it off and the Titans will get the ball to start the game.

-Jaguars defense gets the sack and force an early three and out.

-Jaguars offense stalls near midfield and the Jaguars will punt the ball away to the Titans.

-Jaguars defense continues to ball out this year and Jacksonville recovers the fumble.

-Lawrence looks calm and comfortable throwing the ball today, great to see after the pressure he was under last week.

-What a catch by Ridley as the Jaguars strike first in this game and take a quick and early lead. Jaguars 7, Titans 0

-That’s the end of the 1st quarter as the Jaguars still lead this big AFC south matchup 7-0.

2nd quarter

-Josh Allen and Andre Cisco get to Will Levis and will push them to the edge of the Titans field goal range.

-Interesting special teams penalty call here, let us know in the comments what you think the ruling should be.

-Jaguars offense is rolling a touchdown here in the redzone would be a great reward for this defense that is playing so well.

-Field goal is good for the Jaguars and while a touchdown would be great, the Jaguars defense has been crushing it and Jacksonville gets the ball to start the 2nd half.

-Would you have gone for it on 4th down?

-Jaguars defense forces another 3 and out, Trevor Lawrence and the offense will get the ball on their own 30. A score before the half would be huge for this Jaguars offense.

-Lawrence misses Engram on the run and Jacksonville is forced to kick a field goal and extends their lead. Jaguars 13, Titans 0

-Jacksonville will start the 2nd half with the ball.

3rd quarter

-Jaguars convert the 4th down and Johnson is really filling out that RB2 role very well.

-Trevor shows off his legs and scores the touchdown. Jaguars 20, Titans 0

-Jaguars defense is playing like the game is tied 0-0 and tackles very well and forces another 3 and out for the Titans.

-Trevor Lawrence is having one of his best games of the season so far and this offense looks elite against this Titans defense.

-A questionable call by the officials gives the Titans the first down, I still really don’t understand how to tackle quarterbacks anymore.

-Titans score a touchdown on some trickery as the they get their first points of the game. Jaguars 27, Titans 7

4th quarter

-Jaguars offense stalls as they go 3 and out and are forced to punt the ball to the Titans.

-In a shocking turn of events, the Jaguars recover the fumble and looks like they will maintain possession.

-Lawrence with another rushing touchdown??? I like it!!! Jaguars 34, Titans 7.

-Will Levis throws his 2nd touchdown pass of the day as the Titans get on the board again.

-Jaguars still lead 34-14.

-Bigsby’s run will take us to two minute warning and the Jaguars will look to run the ball and put this game away.

-As the clock runs out this game will come to a close.

-Lawrence has one of the best games of his career through the air and on the ground and will win this one game.
