The Jacksonville Jaguars open as 7.5-point favorites as they head back home to EverBank Stadium to host the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football. The Jaguars are coming off a massive 24-21 victory this past weekend over division rivals, the Houston Texans. The win put the Jaguars temporarily as the No. 1 seed in the AFC and in first place in the AFC South by two games. On Monday the Jaguars will hope to keep that lead going as they host a struggling Bengals team on national television. The Jaguars are on another little win streak, winning two in a row, and will hope to make that three in a row on Monday when they host the Bengals.
The Bengals, on the other side, are on a three-game losing streak and were struggling even before star quarterback Joe Burrow went down with an injury. The Bengals will be coming into Jacksonville hoping to end their slide, but sitting at 5-6 on the season and last place in the AFC North, it’s going to be a tough ask for backup quarterback Jake Browning, who hasn’t done much to impress in his three games so far this season. In three games, Browning has been sacked seven times, and he’s coming into a team whose pass rush has been causing havoc the last few weeks.
As it stands, the Jaguars are 7.5-point favorites, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
