Bears vs Vikings: Monday Night Football picks for Week 12

Jaguars fans, who are you picking in tonight’s game between the Bears and Vikings?

Monday Night Football kicks off tonight at 8:15 p.m. ET as the Minnesota Vikings host the Chicago Bears at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Vikings are 3-point favorites, according to our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook, and the total is set at 43.5 points.

The biggest thing I’m watching for tonight is Chicago’s offense, led by quarterback Justin Fields, against Minnesota’s defense, led by coordinator Brian Flores.

The Vikings are an all-or-nothing unit, as Flores calls the highest frequency of both 3-man rushes (24%) and 5-plus-man blitzes (45%) than any team this season, per Sports Info Solutions. The Purple People Eaters are the ninth-best defense in terms of both yards per play and EPA per play allowed.

Meanwhile, Chicago’s offense ranks 10th-worst in both yards per play and EPA per play allowed. Fields did show last week why nobody should quit on him yet.

Here are our staff’s picks for tonight’s game.

This is now an open thread for the game. Let us know your BLANK thoughts in the comments below!
